IP-VFC Ports and SFP Modules
The IP-VFC card has four rear ports, two for ST 2110 network video and two for 12G-SDI video.
Ports and SFP modules
Section titled “Ports and SFP modules”The reference table below shows which SFP module goes in which port. Each module name links through to its own support page.
Each pair of ports serves one output type. For ST 2110, Eth0 and Eth1 take 25Gb network modules, while Port 3 and Port 4 take 12G, 3G or 2x 3G SDI modules.

Populating Eth1 gives you packet-level redundancy.
SMPTE 2022-7 receivers use it to ensure no packets are missed, even on noisy networks.
Quad mode splits the card’s output across four SDI signals. A port carries a maximum of two, so Quad needs a 2x 3G module in both Port 3 and Port 4, along with FW 26.2.
