Legacy Cloud Overview
MyDisguise replaced Disguise Cloud at the end of September 2026. Every Disguise Cloud account and Organisation migrates automatically the first time you log in at my.disguise.cloud, which usually takes a minute or two. We do recommend reviewing your account settings and Organisations.
Disguise Cloud launched in September 2022 as a collection of browser-based apps for managing your Organisation, your team and your content. This page covers what has happened to Cloud Dashboard, Drive, Previz, Mapping Matter and the Cloud APIs.
Cloud Dashboard
Section titled “Cloud Dashboard”Cloud Dashboard was the centralised management tool for launching Drive, Previz and Mapping Matter, managing your Organisation, administering your team, and updating your own profile and preferences.
Cloud Dashboard no longer exists. MyDisguise does all of it, and your Organisation, team, subscriptions and licenses have moved across with you. See What happens to your Disguise Cloud account.
MyDisguise has a Dashboard of its own, which summarises your subscriptions and licenses, your Organisation’s members and your most recent downloads.
Disguise Drive
Section titled “Disguise Drive”Disguise Drive is where you upload and consolidate project content in one online interface. A Drive is a place to collect and store content, and could be used for a project, a branch of your company or a location.
Drive itself is not part of this migration phase, so nothing inside it changes. What changes is how you reach it: open Drive from the Apps section of the MyDisguise sidebar, rather than from Cloud Dashboard. For now, opening Drive asks you to sign in a second time. More information will follow.
Your Drive roles do not change, even though your Organisation roles do. Anyone who was a Reviewer or a Collaborator in Disguise Cloud becomes a Member of your MyDisguise Organisation, and keeps their original role in Drive.
Previz
Section titled “Previz”Previz lets you plan and preview content in a real-time 3D environment, and share 3D work for review with internal teams and external clients. It supports 3D animations, cameras and lighting, and Designer users can share their creations straight to it. Read more about it here.
Previz is part of Drive rather than a separate app. You create one by selecting New in Drive, so reaching Previz means opening Drive from the Apps section of the MyDisguise sidebar.
Mapping Matter
Section titled “Mapping Matter”Mapping Matter is a simulation tool designed for audio visual professionals who need to create Video Projection Specs and recommendations for Large Scale Projects. It serves as a comprehensive solution for confirming budget estimates, assessing luminance, pixel densities, and refining projector placements.
Create large scale video projections in a simple 3D environment to plan everything you need before showtime. See Mapping Matter.
Mapping Matter continues unchanged. Open it from the Apps section of the MyDisguise sidebar. Disguise Cloud Studio subscriptions become Mapping Matter subscriptions, at no extra charge, and you keep access to both the current and legacy versions.
Cloud APIs
Section titled “Cloud APIs”Cloud APIs are documented on the Developer Portal. The Cloud API documentation walks you through using the Cloud API to interact with your account, including your organisation, drives, and content.
These new APIs open up the possibilities to integrate applications that are part of your workflows with the Disguise Cloud ecosystem.
What can you do with the Content APIs?
Section titled “What can you do with the Content APIs?”- Manage Organisations and Drives:
- Update your organisation properties.
- Create, archive, and restore drives.
- Handle Assets and Folders:
- View folder structure and download assets.
- Upload assets and create folders.
- Update, delete, and manage asset versions.
The APIs are divided into two categories:
- Management API: Focused on managing organisations and drives.
- Drive API: Designed to handle assets and folders.
