Features

New and improved ways to add treatments

Keyframe toggles

With keyframe toggles, you can clean up your sequencing on the timeline and quickly iterate by simply toggling timeline keyframes on and off.

Time-independent layer stack

With the new, time-independent layer stack, you can conveniently manage layers of treatments in live video input. Apply colour looks and colour keyer, add input transforms, video overlays, masking or stylistic effects. Once done, you can stack, compose and order effects

Features

Brand new spatial calibration workflows

AR calibration

We added a workflow to calibrate AR objects without the need for LED walls. Based on the quick align workflow you already know, you can calibrate AR objects easily and with precision.

Calibration API

In addition, we now added the calibration API. Once you build your external workflow, you can easily integrate xR calibration and save manpower in the spatial calibration process. Remotely run observations, make refinements as you go along, and use the toggling feature for easy comparison and testing.

One more thing: Use less bandwidth with scale factor

Scale factor is platform agnostic and allows you to control your network bandwidth. Render a fraction of your content while still assuring high resolution content.

Release notes for r20

  • DSOF-19396 - Fixed an issue where camera switching was incorrect for newly created Renderstream layers
  • DSOF-18330  - Fixed an Access Violation when changing Editor to an Actor

Improvements
  • DSOF-19400 - Installer now creates a desktop shortcut to d3 manager on a rx

Advisories
  • DSOF-18764 - Legacy Video Module doesn’t work with color shift
    • Workaround: Not known
    • Affects Version: r19.1.7

  • DSOF-18504 - Actors are regularly launching out of focus
    • Workaround: Not Known
    • Affects version: OS related

  • DSOF-18446 - Very large NotchLC content can cause d3 to lose access to GPU device
    • Workaround: Not Known
    • Affects Version: r18.1.9

  • DSOF-18429 - d3 logo can turn red. This indicates that the d3state has gone bad. This could potentially cause a project corruption.
    • Workaround: Not known, but limited success was found by reverting to a last known good history file, attempt a re-installation of disguise software

  • DSOF-18015 - Intermittent issue - Heap Corruption causing Crash To Desktop
    • Workaround: Not known
    • Affects version: r19.0.1

  • DSOF-17848 - With "disableDmxPacketSendWait" on, lost sACN node on network still causes the project to slow to a halt.
    • Workaround: Add a static entry into the local systems ARP table.
      Open an elevated commant prompt.
Find out MAC for IP, could use arp -a to see existing entries in local arp cache.
Run netsh interface ipv4 show interfaces to get a list of interface names.
      Add a new entry to the ARP table netsh interface ipv4 add neighbors "<interface name>" <dest ip> <dest mac>
      E.g netsh interface ipv4 add neighbors "Wi-Fi" 10.105.1.253 01-02-03-04-05-06
Remove entry like so; netsh interface ipv4 delete neighbors <dest ip>
Important - Remove entries when done or re-image system!!! Otherwise network issues may occur in the future sending the manually added IP addresses.
    • Affects version: r18.1.7

  • DSOF-17540 - Sequencing changes do not transfer to other machines in session when restoring a snapshot
    • Workaround: Not known
    • Affects version: r18.1.2

  • DSOF-17193 - Multi User Edit in UE requires preferred sync adapter to be set to a network adapter which is available to all machines
    • Workaround: Often the preferred sync adapter is set to the 25Gb network to facilitate faster sync. Unless all machines in the network have a 25Gb adapter, the preferred sync adapter must be set to another network adapter when multi user edit sessions are running in UE. The adapter can be changed back for when running sync tasks.
    • Affects version: r18.0

  • DSOF-17108 - Current NCAM data implementation used can exhibit unreliable packet timing
    • Workaround: Not known
    • Affects version: r18.0

    • Workaround: Not known
    • Affects version: r18.0.2
